Yeah, we are really good!  No, we are not conceited; we just know a great team when we see one.  One of Training Resources’ biggest assets is our team members.  We have outlined our roles in the company below but what is hard to express on paper is our cohesiveness as a team.  Individually, we are all very talented people but together, we ROCK event planning. 

Deanna Triplett, Chief Executive Director

Our fearless leader; she really has to be fearless to have assembled this diverse group of people and molded them in to a well-oiled machine!  Deanna is the CEO of the Iowa Behavioral Health Association which gives our training division, Training Resources, support and direction. She is responsible for the management of all association business, including state and federal public policy, workforce development, personnel and financial management, and government/public relations. She is skilled in association management, public policy, training and event planning, and health and wellness issues.



Penne Gatton, Fiscal Contact, CFO

Penne has worked as a CPA in public, private and government agencies for the past 25 years. As we act as the fiscal agent for most of our clients, Penne is responsible for invoices, registration fees, sponsorships, billing, and any other tasks where money is involved.  QuickBooks software is the accounting tool she uses, among other checks and balances in our sound financial system.





Becky Woodcock, Event Manager

Becky has been the HEART of Training Resources for ten years.  She literally doesn’t “miss a beat” when it comes to conference planning details and customer service.  Becky provides seamless coordination between projects, our company and our clients.  She keeps a steady pulse on the activities of our office.  Becky has a background in psychology and mental health which makes her a valuable asset to any team.





Monica Stutzman, Event Coordinator

Bring your ear plugs when you meet Monica, she comes from the “other side of the tracks” in event planning.  She spent the last 18 years spreading her cheer in the hospitality industry as Director of Sales for hotels, restaurants and a hospitality management company.  Monica’s expertise in sales and marketing will help us continue to grow.  Her boisterous laughter and enthusiasm for event planning is contagious.  If you don’t believe us, just listen…





Katrina Davis, Event Coordinator

Katrina is the newest member of our team. She started out as a floral designer then enjoyed the wedding and event planning industry. She has 15 years experience in event planning and conference management from the corporate side. She still does some floral design in her spare time to tap into her creative self but at the office she flowers us with her zest for research and knowledge, as well as her skills in technology and web management.   





Deb Milligan, Office Assistant

Deb helps us to keep the office functioning and moving forward. She has been with us for eight years. She is an invaluable asset in assisting us with all aspects of our business including conference and financial management.  She is always where we need her, when we need her there.  With her impeccable memory and recall for details she is our human backup drive, no disc required.
